Nemo, the outdoor gear and accessories manufacturer, announced its 2022 line of new and updated backpacking gear with an increased focus on sustainability, weight reduction, and insulation.
“One of the most exciting updates for the 2022 line is the new OSMO recycled fabric in the Dagger OSMO and Hornet Elite OSMO series. OSMO fabrics are woven from recycled polyester and nylon yarns and backed with a polyurethane coating for waterproofness. This high-performance, proprietary poly-nylon ripstop fabric has four times longer water repellency and three times less stretch when wet. OSMO is made from 100 percent recycled yarns that are PFC- and PFAS-free and meet flame retardancy standards without adding chemicals,” said the brand.
